My Pocket

Most of the junk in this piece are either from my pocket, my wallet or the bottom of my bag. I feel that drawing with biro pen suits the subject matter of everyday items because the medium itself is an object that people interact with everyday of their lives. I feel that drawing people's attention to the intricacy and detail of items that they might take for granted will help them to appreciate the beauty of them.

Student Life

So I decided to name these two pages from my sketchbook 'Student Life' because of the stationary, the revision notes, the bus tickets, the student lanyard as well as the receipts that I associate with being very suited for younger customers. I feel that the use of biro pen is a material that all students come into contact with and is a tool used to doodle when they have been distracted from studying. The concept of this is a gathering of different imagery that reflect a typical student's lifestyle.
